Collaboration & Portals
Brand teams contribute directly, inside clear boundaries
A brand-scoped workspace where internal teams and agencies update content and share assets, with every contribution reviewed before it reaches the master.
How it works
Check what each brand contributor can do
Switch between an agency writer, a brand manager and a dealer marketer to see brand scope, role and separation of duties applied to each contribution.
| Contribution | Brand | view | edit | approve |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RW-40 workbench description update | Ridgeway | Allowed | Changes go to review | Approver role required |
| Lifestyle image set, garage storage | Ridgeway | Allowed | Changes go to review | Approver role required |
| HC-9 caster feature bullets | Halcon | Outside your brand scope | Outside your brand scope | Outside your brand scope |
The capability
Collaboration scoped to the brand
Companies with multiple brands, private labels or agency partners need outside contributors to update content and media. Granting them access to the full PIM exposes unrelated brands; emailing files bypasses governance.
Autonera's brand portal scopes each user to the brands they work on and the actions their role allows. Viewers browse and download approved content, contributors propose updates and upload assets, and approvers review contributions. Separation of duties prevents contributors from approving their own work.
Contributions enter the same review workflow as internal changes, so brand content in the portal is always the governed content. Asset sharing uses collections and rights, so partners receive only approved, licensed media.
Problems it solves
Where this work usually breaks down
All-or-nothing access
Agencies receive full PIM access or none at all.
Content by email
Brand updates arrive as attachments and are retyped.
Self-approved changes
Contributors publish their own work without review.
Unlicensed asset sharing
Partners download media they are not allowed to use.
