What is User Experience (UX)?
Definition
The overall experience users have when interacting with a PIM system, from navigation to task efficiency. Good UX ensures that teams can easily search, update, enrich, and manage product information. Intuitive design increases adoption, reduces training time, and accelerates data quality improvements.
UX includes clarity, task completion, and error recovery, not only visual appearance. For example, an autonomous product data operation could take product exceptions awaiting a steward's decision, present the conflicting values, sources, and available actions clearly, and help the reviewer complete an informed authorized decision.
