What is Data Warehouse?
Definition
A data warehouse is a central repository optimised for analytics and reporting. It stores structured, cleansed data from multiple systems. PIM can feed warehouses to support data-driven decision-making.
A warehouse supports analytical reporting and is not necessarily the operational master record. For example, an autonomous product data operation could take catalog-quality outcomes from completed product operations, load approved summary data into the reporting warehouse, and compare quality trends without changing source product records.
