What is Product Data Sheet?
Definition
A product data sheet provides detailed information such as features, specs, benefits, and usage instructions. It is used for sales, onboarding, customer support, and compliance. PIM systems generate accurate, updated sheets directly from master data.
A data sheet is a source or output document whose facts should align with the governed record. For example, an autonomous product data operation could take an approved product master and installation specifications, prepare a data-sheet draft using the current authorized values, and route the document for approval before distribution.
