Autonomous Data Operations
Validation that fixes what it is allowed to fix
Agents evaluate rules, correct issues within the authority you grant, recheck the result and escalate everything else with evidence.
The capability
From error lists to resolved exceptions
Validation rules are good at finding problems and bad at fixing them. Most organizations end up with long error reports that stewards work through by hand, while the same low-risk issues recur every week.
Autonomous validation adds correction plans and authority. Each issue is classified by risk and whether a trusted fix exists. Depending on the authority level you grant, agents fix low-risk issues and recheck them, propose high-risk corrections for approval, and escalate issues without a trustworthy fix.
Rules themselves are defined in Validation & Completeness. This capability governs who, or what, resolves the failures, and records the evidence for each resolution.
Problems it solves
Where this work usually breaks down
- 01
Error reports nobody clears
Validation produces lists faster than people can resolve them.
- 02
Recurring trivial fixes
Stewards fix the same unit and formatting issues repeatedly.
- 03
Risky automatic fixes
Scripts change regulated values without review.
- 04
Fixes without rechecks
Corrections introduce new failures.
How it works
Change the authority granted to validation agents
Switch authority levels to see which issues are fixed automatically, proposed for approval, escalated or only reported.

Autonomous operations
How autonomous execution changes autonomous data validation
Authority levels let you expand autonomous remediation gradually as confidence grows.
Agents carry out
- Evaluate rules
- Fix within authority
- Recheck corrections
- Escalate with evidence
People decide
- Grant authority
- Approve proposals
- Resolve escalations
Evidence recorded
- Issue and fix
- Source for each correction
- Recheck result
In industrial operations
A bearing distributor clears a persistent validation backlog
Thousands of validation failures were open, most of them low-risk unit and format issues.
- Authority is set to fix low-risk issues.
- Unit and title issues are fixed and rechecked.
- Load-rating differences are proposed with datasheet evidence.
- Hazard and identifier issues are escalated.
Result: Stewards review the issues that need judgement while routine fixes are handled and evidenced.

Buyer FAQs
Questions evaluators ask
How is this different from Validation & Completeness?
That capability defines rules and scores. Autonomous validation resolves failures within granted authority.
Can we start with observation only?
Yes. Authority can start at observe and expand by rule or category.
What counts as low risk?
Risk is configured per rule and attribute, for example formatting versus regulated values.
Are automatic fixes reversible?
Yes. Each fix records the previous value.
What if a fix fails recheck?
It is reverted or escalated, depending on policy.
